Rebecca spent six hours in a recording studio laying down vocal tracks for the demo recording of the romantic new musical, La Gioconda by Ed McNamee and Donya Lane. The story explores the relationship between Leonardo DiVinci (played by Lewis Cleale) and the mysterious Mona Lisa (played by Megan McGinnis). Rebecca created the role of Isabella D'Este (the wealthy art patron of the Renaissance) in the original showcase production seen at The Clurman Theatre in June of 2006 and also in the recording which will be available in September.

The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) opened at The Walnut Street Theatre's Independence Studio on 3 to rave reviews. Rebecca will be performing at "Theatrical Thursdays" as part of the Musical Monday's series. She will be singing a song from Michael Ogborn's hilarious and touching musical, Cafe Puttanesca. She will be joined on stage by Jeffrey Coon, Mary Martello, Tracie Higgins and Lenora Nemetz. Rebecca will begin rehearsals for City Center Encores! production of Fanny. The production features George Hearn, Elena Shaddow and James Snyder among others. Fanny will be directed by Marc Bruni, choreographed by Lorin Latarro and conducted by Rob Berman. This will mark Rebecca's 4th production at Encores! The production of Oliver! at The Walnut Street Theatre closed with some very tearful little pick-pockets. The production was well received by Philadelphia audiences and was one of the most successful productions in Walnut's history.

Rehearsals begin for the Walnut Street Theatre's holiday production of the musical Oliver! Rebecca will be appearing as Mrs. Bedwin and she will be singing the lovely reprise of Where is Love? She is joined on stage with Hugh Panaro, Janine Divita and an incredible cast of 40 children, 22 adults and an adorable canine named Buddy. Rebecca underwent treatment for Stage II A Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She had surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York under the delicate knife of Dr. Eric Genden. She then received chemotherapy at The University of Pennsylvania's Perlman Center for Advanced Medicine under the supervision of Dr. John Glick. Radiation therapy followed under the direction of Dr. Eli Glatstein, also at The University of Pennsylvania. Rebecca is currently cancer free but will continue to be monitored closely for the next several years.

Rebecca will begin rehearsals for the world premier, pre-Broadway production of Jill Santoriello's A Tale of Two Cities. The show will begin previews on October 13 at the Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida, with opening night October 26 and running through November 18.
